Cavendish Farms is building a new $360 million frozen potato processing plant in Lethbridge, AB. The new plant will almost triple Cavendish Farms’ annual production capacity in Lethbridge to meet growing demand. At the height of construction, it is anticipated there will be 400 construction workers on-site and 750,000 person hours of work.

In a continuing effort by Ellis-Don to incorporate sustainable practices into all aspects of the building, Ellis-Don adopted the LED Jobsite during the building construction. The LED Jobsite replaces all traditional bulb-based temporary construction lighting with state-of-the-art purpose built LED lights. From the crane lights to the sidewalk hoarding lighting, the LED Jobsite will save energy, reduce CO2 emissions, and reduce waste.
