27-story Office Building LED Jobsite
This LED Jobsite project is a 27-story office tower that takes up an entire city block and comprises almost 600,000 sq ft. The general contractor chose to use LED Jobsite temporary LED construction lights during the build. Compared to traditional bulb-based lighting, this project:
Beacon360s were hung from the ceilings as the structural build was completed. Upon the start of fit-out work, the Beacon360s were brought down from the ceiling and mounted on tripods to be used as portable lights around the site. This ability to use the lights across all phases of construction was a huge advantage for all the trades on the site. The project was completed in December 2016.
In a continuing effort by leading construction firms to incorporate sustainable practices into all aspects of the building, this project adopted the LED Jobsite during the construction phase. The LED Jobsite replaces all traditional bulb-based temporary construction lighting with state-of-the-art purpose built LED lights. From the crane lights to the sidewalk hoarding lighting, the LED Jobsite will save energy, reduce CO2 emissions, and reduce waste.
